Robert Daniel Abbott, 70, passed away November 20, 2023, in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania while serving as a Historic Site Missionary. Dan was born July 8, 1953, in Delta, Utah to Manley and Maxine Abbott. He married Kathy Johnston, May 6,1976, in the Ogden temple.
Ernest McCoy Ernest Blake McCoy departed peacefully from this life Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at age 85. Ernest was born March 27, 1938, in Dublin, Texas to the late Paul McCoy and Lanette (Steele) McCoy.
Services for Jerry Warren, 89, were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, at Cottonwood Church in Dublin, Texas, with Rev. Mike Fritscher officiating. Burial followed at the Warren Family Cemetery in Comanche County. Visitation was held at Lacy Funeral Home.
Cecil B. (C.B.) Ellis, 92, of Midland went to his reward peacefully on Sunday, November 12, 2023, surrounded by his three loving sons. Cecil was born in Dublin, Texas on January 18, 1931 to Earl Washington Ellis, Sr. and Thelma Alston Ellis.
Peggy Jean (McCleskey) Broughton was born September 19,1934 in Hamilton County, Texas to Edith Grace Ashmore and Dock Clyde McCleskey. She married Milton Leon Broughton I on August 11, 1962, and together they raised three children. Eugenia Lynn, Milton Leon II, and stepdaughter Cynthia Leona.
Nelda Joyce Murphy, 70 years old of Hico, Texas passed away on Wednesday Oct. 25, 2023 at her home surrounded by loved ones.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 29 at Harvest Hills Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Murphy Family Cemetery County Road 499 in Hico, Texas.
Terry Don Craddock was born Feb. 10, 1940 in Dublin, Texas to Thomas D. Craddock and Mabel (Carr) Craddock. He attended Lingleville and Dublin Schools and later joined the Army. His service was very important to him, and he talked about it frequently throughout his life.
