ABLES Services for Bobby Gayle Ables, age 77, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Lacy Funeral Home chapel with Michael Ables and Joshua Williamson officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Johnny Wayne Mulloy, 91, passed away in Midland, TX, on Saturday, February 10, 2024. Johnny was heartbroken when the love of his life, Jane, passed away thirteen months ago and although he will be missed dearly, it is comforting that they are reunited in Heaven forever.

Nena Gilbreath

Nena Gilbreath, 53, passed away Jan. 30, 2024 in Houston. A Celebration of Life was held Thursday, Feb. 8 at Stephenville Funeral Home followed by burial at the Desdemona Cemetery. Nena was born on June 26, 1970 in Dublin to Marvin Dale and Betty Sue Fonville Moon.

Salvador Cuevas Solano

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Salvador Cuevas Solano, who departed from this world on February 5th, 2024. Born on March 21, 1956, in Atequiza, Jalisco, Mexico, Salvador embodied the virtues of hard work and perseverance. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Joe Derrell Starnes

Joe Derrell Starnes was born on May 2, 1938, and was from the Wilson Community, Comanche County. He passed away at the age of 85, on Feb. 7, 2024, peacefully at his home surrounded by many of his loved ones. Joe was very versatile in his hobbies as well as occupations.

Sandra Anne Christian, age 67, of Scroggins, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024. A Celebration of Life service will be on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Mount Vernon with Craig Clark officiating.

Frank “Franko” C. Gaitan

Frank “Franko” C. Gaitan, Jr. passed away Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024, with his wife by his side, at his home. He was born in Pleasanton, Texas Feb. 13, 1958, to Frank, Sr., and Dolores Gaitan. The family moved to Dublin in 1966 from Lubbock, Texas.

Wanda Neel Grimes

Wanda Neel Grimes departed this life on January 27, 2024 in College Station, TX at the age of 99 years and 5 months. She was born in Dublin, TX on Aug 23, 1924 to the late Guy Weaver Neel and Mary Louisa Wilhite Neel. Wanda married Barney A Grimes, Jr, an Army Air Corps pilot in 1941.

Judith Pogue Judith Ann Pogue of Stephenville, Texas left this Earth to return home to be with her Lord and Savior on Jan. 4, 2024. Judith was born on Aug. 17, 1945, in Dublin, Texas. Judith loved to serve the Lord and her community.
