Jerry D. Cogburn was born July 8, 1951, in Dublin, Texas He passed away Sept. 9, 2023. He was the son of Gene and Jimmie Cogburn. He married the love of his life, Delia Kay Cogburn on Feb.16, 2002, in Cleburne, Texas. He was preceded in death by his mom and dad and his wife Delia.

John William Davis of Dublin, Texas passed away Aug. 31, 2023, with his loving wife and family by his side, at the age of 95. John was born to his parents, Mittie Edna (Dorsey) and James Alford Davis July 27, 1928, in Dublin, Texas.

Nolan Ralph Blain

Nolan Ralph Blain, 87, of Grand Prairie, passed away Sept. 4, 2023. He was born Feb. 25, 1936, in Dublin, Texas. He was the 6th child of William Henry and Ethel Mary Frances Strong Blain. He married Martha Sue Shriver on August 9, 1975. Together, they blended their families and raised six children.

Jack Arnold Corbell

Jack Arnold Corbell of Stephenville, Texas returned into the loving arms of his Savior on Sept. 6, 2023, surrounded by his family. Jack was born on Feb. 28, 1928, to his parents, Ruby Lee (Ashmore) and Ivan Calvin Corbell in Tomball, Texas. Jack proudly served our country in the U.S.

Graveside services for Troy H. Jones, 92, of Odessa were Aug. 14, 2023 in New Dublin Liveoak Cemetery, Dean Bradley officiating. Troy was born on July 23, 1931 on an Erath County farm south of Dublin to Harley and Hettie Jones.

SHOUP

Noel Shoup Noel Emerson Shoup was born Sept. 11, 1918 in Erath County, Texas. He died Feb. 28, 1944 near Le Translay,Somme, Picardie, France. His remains were identified in April 2023. He will be interred in the Upper Greens Creek Cemetery Sept. 11, 2023.

Born to James (Jimmie) E. and Bessie Hammond Armstrong in Dublin, Texas, Elizabeth “Ann” Armstrong (Tatum) Thorne passed to her heavenly home with her Lord and Savior, Jesus, Aug. 12, 2023, at home with beloved family at her side.

SHARP Dorothy Charlene (Pack) Sharp, 94, of Stephenville went to be with the Lord on August 16, 2023. Funeral services for Charlene will be Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Valley Grove Baptist Church in Stephenville, Texas. Patrick Wimberly will be officiating.
