Museum Matters

The plane that Noel Shoup would eventually fly was an iconic four engine B-17 bomber that saw a lot of action during World War II. The B-17s dropped more bombs during World War II than any other aircraft. (Wikipedia, Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress). It flew high and fast for its day.

I already knew that!

I would like to be able to truthfully say I’ve got it all together, but I don’t. As much as I dislike being reminded of that fact, I am still very thankful that our Father loves me enough to not give up on me.

Peanut Field Day

These outta sight 60’s slang terms are poised for a comeback

Sure, we could discuss some far-out, groovy words we’re all hip to (if you can dig it). However, today’s installment of Grammar Guy discusses some of the less common 60’s slang I think we should give another try.

Running Before

At one time in my life, I was a pretty good runner. My problem was that, without my glasses, I couldn’t see. In my grade school years, we played a lot of softball during phys-ed. I loved playing ball. But, remember, this was before I knew that I needed glasses.

The Dublin Public Library is still needing help getting ready for its renovation. The library needs assistance packing books and moving items as they prepare for a major renovation at the end of October.
