He was waiting at the Dallas Trade Mart for the President to arrive when he received the tragic news that Kennedy had been shot. As doctors at Parkland Hospital were desperately treating the President, he went to the Texas School Book Depository with other police officers.

75 Years Ago Nov. 9, 1945 The seven year old son of Mrs. Millie Hancock accidentally blew off three of his fingers while playing with a dynamite cap. Not knowing what it was, the boy hit it with a hammer which caused his injury. He was taken for treatment and was recovering. 50 Years Ago Nov.
