2020 Comanche County Pecan Show The Comanche Pecan Show is an annual tradition that has been held for as far back as anyone can remember. It is a great opportunity to show off one of the most valuable commodities produced here in the county.

BROWNWOOD GOOD. Water slightly stained; 69 degrees; 2.25 low. Largemouth bass are fair with natural-colored swim baits, dark skirted jigs, and spinners in 3-12’ near creeks, rocky shorelines, and fallen timber. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs in brush piles and timber near a creek channel.

He was waiting at the Dallas Trade Mart for the President to arrive when he received the tragic news that Kennedy had been shot. As doctors at Parkland Hospital were desperately treating the President, he went to the Texas School Book Depository with other police officers.

75 Years Ago Nov. 9, 1945 The seven year old son of Mrs. Millie Hancock accidentally blew off three of his fingers while playing with a dynamite cap. Not knowing what it was, the boy hit it with a hammer which caused his injury. He was taken for treatment and was recovering. 50 Years Ago Nov.
