John Erik Burleson was born on January 8, 1971 to John Joel Burleson and Ruemma Frizzell Taylor in Stephenville, Texas. Funeral services for Erik were held Tuesday, Feb. 1st at Cottonwood Baptist Church with Mike Fritscher officiating.

WOMACK

Wallace “Wally” Edward Womack, 65, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 29, 2022 in Fort Worth, TX. Wally was born on February 19, 1956 in Fotana, CA to his parents John E. Womack and Velma (Larkins) Womack. He retired from the Comyn Peanut plant. Wally was a loving husband and dad.

SCHLAUTMAN

Florin Theodore Schlautman, 94, passed away on January 29, 2022 at Granbury Villa in Granbury, Texas. The son of John Henry and Anna Wolff Schlautman was born August 25, 1927 in Cuming County, Nebraska.

KENDRICK

Lois Ann Kendrick, 89, of Dublin, went to be with the Lord on January 18, 2022 at the Mulberry Manor in Stephenville, TX. Lois was born on February 13, 1932 in Warren, Arkansas to her parents William Beck and Mary (Turner) Beck. She married William Kendrick and had one child together.

TYUS

Billy Jack Tyus, 81, went to be with the Lord on January 22, 2022 in Fort Worth, TX. Billy was born on September 7, 1940 in Gorman, TX to his parents William Lyman Tyus and Billy Fae (Lundon) Tyus.

NIEMANN

Rebecca Kay Niemann, 66, went to be with the Lord on January 23, 2022 at her residence in Stephenville, TX. Rebecca was born on October 24, 1955 in Andrews, TX to her parents Alfred Henery William Niemann and Juanita Helen (Barnes) Niemann. She was a retired Walmart pharmacy technician.

HOWARD

Don was born on November 26, 1940, to the family of Joseph Clayton Howard and Gladys (Ramsey) Howard and siblings Joe Jr., Betty Jane (Hogue), and Mary Frances (Blackman) at the Dublin Hospital. Two years later they welcomed little brother Eddie.

SEARS

Dave Kenneth Sears, 81, went to be with the Lord on January 15, 2022 in Stephenville, TX. Dave was born on March 26, 1940 in Gorman, TX to his parents Dave Campbell Sears and Dorothy E. (Allen) Sears. He married Brenda Forrest on March 23, 1963 and had two children. He was a member of the U.S.

THR, DISD hosting free vaccine clinic Texas Health Resources and Dublin ISD are hosting a free COVID Vaccine clinic on Friday, Jan. 14 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The clinic will be held at the Dublin ISD Administration office (420 N. Post Oak).

POLICE LOG

December 27 A Reporting Person in the 600 block of E. Sheridan advised that a dog was coming onto their property and acting aggressive. Responding officers located the owner and issued a warning for a dog at large. Dublin PD was informed of loud music in the vicinity of Trowbridge Street.
