Gaitan swings at Regionals

Dublin High School senior Kaden Gaitan ended his golf season at the regional level this week as he competed against 95 other competitors at Diamondback in Abilene.“Kaden performed with a strong mindset and never put his head down, as a true competitor,” said head DHS golf coach Wes Grisham.

The Dublin Lions faced the Eastland Mavericks in games Tuesday, April 1 and Friday, April 4 with the Dublin boys improving in the back-to-back battles.The Lions logged 2 against Eastland’s 10 on April 1.

The Dublin Lady Lions drew up some impressive stats in the Tuesday, April 1 away game against Millsap.Jocelyn Perez and Haden Keilers each scored a run in their walks to contribute to Dublin’s 3 points logged against Millsap’s 11.

DHS sending two to Area track meet

Dublin High School is sending two varsity tracksters to Area on Thursday, April 10 in Graham after they placed high in the district meet at Dublin April 2-3.Senior Kaden Gaitan is advancing in the boys 200 meter dash after placing second with a time of 22.97 seconds, just behind the first place 22.

Dublin High School is sending nine students to Regional academic UIL competition after they placed high at the District Academic meet in Comanche Wednesday, March 26.Dubliners winning gold at the event were Mason Graves in Mathematics and Alexis Evans in Literary Criticism.
