Darkness. Absence of sight. In the dark we fear those things that go bump in the night. Terror of darkness is common. Who wants to go into a dark basement? Who would like to volunteer to be first into the mouth of an unknown cave flooded with the blackness of the dark?

It’s not really goodbye; it’s till we meet again. Seeing friends and loved ones off on a long journey isn’t easy. Parting is painful if we’re unsure when we will be reunited faceto- face. What if there’s the chance of never seeing them again?

Dear Toni, My brother recently had to move out of his house into as assisted living facility because he broke his hip and is unable to live on his own. The monthly cost of the facility is about $4500 per month and his adult children are having to help him financially.
