Costume contest set for Halloween weekend

Safe Trick or Treat hosted by the Dublin Chamber of Com-merce will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in downtown on Halloween, Monday, Oct. 31.

Trunk or Treat set for Saturday, Oct. 29 The Stephenville Area Elks Lodge will be hosting a Trunk or Treat event 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29 at Celebration Park, 198 E. Elm Street in Dublin.

Fall festival planned Oct. 22

Greens Creek Nation at Greens Creek Baptist Church invites everyone to come out and attend its annual Kids Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 22. It all starts with activities from 4 to 6 p.m. with food and fellowship at 6 p. m.

Geneological Society workshop Oct. 21

Dublin Public Library and Erath County Genealogical Society are hosting a free one day Genealogy Workshop from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21. You are invited to attend all or as many sessions as you wish at the library or virtually from home.

Community Table set for Oct. 26

The Community Table at Dublin First Methodist Church is now serving meals in the fellowship hall as well as performing deliveries. on Wednesday, Oct. 26. The meals are free to the community the last Wednesday of every month, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The Dublin Garden Club is meeting again. And we are glad to be active again. We met in the home of DJ Klutts, Oct. 12. Deanna Turley gave our program on fall flower arranging. Deanna built an arrangement in a real pumpkin and it was beautiful.
