October 26 Caller reported that someone rang her doorbell and then left on the 700 block of Highland. October 27 Report of a car alarm going off at Central Inn. A report was made of a black Ford pickup truck failing to maintain lanes on Highway 6.

October 23 At 9:32 a.m. a truck hit an electric pole knocking down live wires on FM 8 West. At 10:50 p.m. a puppy was found on FM 2303 and was brought to the Stephenville shelter. October 24 At 8:05 p.m.

Pictured are the winners of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce Halloween costume contest. Judges had a hard time deciding among the more than 60 entries but decided upon the first three as cutest/most creative, pictures 4-6 as creepiest and the last three as the best group entries.

Tarleton sets fall graduation

Tarleton State University will celebrate fall 2020 graduates with in-person commencement ceremonies Dec. 11-12 at Memorial Stadium on the Stephenville campus, provided current public health guidelines remain unchanged. Each graduate will receive eight tickets to share with family and friends.

A red emergency phone has been installed inside the entryway allowing visitors to immediately reach county dispatch after Dublin switched its dispatch services to Erath County Sheriff’s Office. The change will not affect any of the staff of Dublin Police Department, Dublin EMS and Dublin Volunteer Fire Department. Dublin dispatch moves to ECSO

The Dublin dispatch has officially been relocated to the Erath County Sheriff’s Office but Dublin Police Chief Cameron Ray assures that this change won’t mean that much to the Dublin population.
