Top Gun contest set for Saturday

Looking for a way to earn some extra Christmas cash? Locked and Loaded Training Center will be hosting a Top Gun contest at noon Saturday, Dec. 6.The training center is located at 205 N. Patrick Street in Dublin.Entry fee is $25 per chance, and shooters can enter for more than one prize.

Fall 1915 was peanut threshing time in Dublin. At that time this New Racine thresher was relied on to get the job done. Though it was built by the J.I. Case Company in Racine, Wisconsin, it was also sold by International Harvester.

Edgar Rodriguez learned to play soccer when he was 12. He played for the local team Quest FC through high school, and continued to play in college. Now, when Rodriguez gets some free time from his career in the oilfield, he loves passing on the love of the sport to his young daughter.
