Primary filings now underway

Filing is underway for the March 2026 races with several people filing during the opening days.With filing beginning Nov. 8 and ending Dec. 8, the following individuals have already filed in the Republican Primary.Brandon Huckabee has filed to retain his seat as county judge.

Thursday Club learns about Rolling Plains ecosystem

The Woman’s Thursday Club of Dublin met in the conference room at Karen Wright’s Black Jack Office Building.The meeting was hosted by Patty Hirst, who presented a fine program on the Rolling Plains Ecoregion.

CASA joins churches for Stand Sunday

Since 2004, churches across the country have shown their commitment to supporting the most vulnerable populations in their communities through Stand Sunday—a globally recognized day of prayer for children and families involved in foster care.
