A heavy agenda was tackled by Erath County’s Commissioners Court Monday, Nov. 10 as the court dealt with land development and various projects.In land development, two items for Mountain Lakes were dealt with.On one item, a large lot was split into two smaller lots.

EC Cattle Company, Dublin, Texas, is a new member of the American Angus Association, reports Mark McCully, CEO of the national breed organization headquartered in Saint Joseph, Missouri.

Kingdom Threads sews good will with drive

A cool snap rolled into the area this week, dropping temperatures into the freezing range Sunday night.Fortunately, the community was a little more equipped to face the cold following a two-day special clothing giveaway Friday, Nov. 7 and Saturday, Nov. 8 at Kingdom Threads.

Erath decides in elections

Erath County voters opted for state propositions, picked Lonn Reisman for Stephenville mayor and split decisions on two school bonds in the Nov. 4 general elections. A total of 4,896 Erath voters cast ballots in the election.In the Stephenville mayoral race, Reisman garnered 1,265 votes or 66.
