Dublin Lions fans were treated to a thrilling Bi-District victory at Boyd on Friday against Callisburg, bu they started practicing their cheering on Nov. 10 with the rescheduled bonfire pep rally at the Bash.

A choir of 10 kicked off a Thursday night Quilt of Valor Ceremony at Dublin Historical Museum with patriotic music. Dublin Historical Museum’s back room was filled with a sea of reverent observers as two veterans were honored in a Quilt of Valor Ceremony Thursday night in honor of Veterans Day. The hour-long event ended with special patriotic quilts being presented to Craig Washam, Jr. and Mark Hall.

Gobble Wobble offers free fun

On Thursday, the Dublin FFA Leadership Development teams competed at the Tarleton State invitational contest. Dublin FFA was represented by 30 students in 16 events. Results were as follows: Radio Broadcasting •2nd place Joli St. Germain, Maggie Rollins & Grace Luedke.
