A subject reported a white dog was running loose on May Street.
Dublin PD was contacted by Comanche Police to assist with a vehicle on Highway 67 about a hit and run that happened in the area.
The Roy and Lynn Neff Gym was standing room only on Thursday night as the Dublin ISD bands presented their annual Christmas concert. The Sound of Dublin, Intermediate and Beginner bands all sat on the gym floor at the same time, alternating performances and joining together for holiday favorites.
As they travel Texas roadways during the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, motorists are urged to slow down or move over for stopped emergency vehicles including tow trucks, police cars and fire trucks.
Wright Park has been host to several Christmas trees this month as Country Flower Plant Farm (who provided many of Dublin’s downtown decorations) hosted a Christmas tree lot on Dec. 9 during the Christmas Parade.
The Dublin Citizen will close at noon on Thursday, Dec. 23 and re-open on Dec.. 27 so that the staff may celebrate the Christmas holiday.
The closure will not affect subscribers from receiving copies or the deadlines for the following edition.

Greg Evans announced his candidacy for Justice of the Peace Pct. 1, 3 and 4 last month, but he had been thinking about joining the race since last summer.
“I started thinking about it last year when I heard that Shawnee (Bass) might not run for re-election,” Evans said.
