Dublin will officially be voting on filling three school board seat in the May 7 elections. After filing ended on Friday, the Dublin ISD races officially consisted of: Challenger Dewayne Kolb and incumbent Bob Cervetto for an unexpired term.

Dublin starts seeing green

Dublin is getting even more green as decorations have started popping up for the annual St. Patrick’s Day festivities. This year’s celebration will be held on March 12 with vendors, live music, the annual parade, an interactive murder mystery, the Shamrock Shootout disc golf tournament and more.

Chance Garrett is running for the position of Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2 and is looking to bring his experience in law enforcement to the office. Garrett, the current manager of Stone’s Auto in Dublin, reported that he was a police officer for 10.5 years.

Dublin sales remain steady in January

Dublin sales remained steady in the most recent sales tax report issued by Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar on Feb. 1. Sales tax receipts for January were within $400 of the same period last year. This is even with the Dublin Dollar General being closed for renovations.
