Trail Ride moving to Blue Stem

May 7 marks the 25th annual Cowboy Capital Trail Ride and with the milestone comes a change in venue. The trail ride, befitting the National MS Society in its crusade against multiple sclerosis, is moving from the Hunewell Ranch to the Blue Stem Ranch (west of Morgan Mill on FM 1188).

Texas Secretary of State John Scott reminded Texas voters of upcoming deadlines and key dates for the upcoming Constitutional Amendment and Local Elections on May 7th, as well as the Primary Runoff Elections on May 24th.

BROWNWOOD SLOW. Water stained; 62-65 degrees; 2.61 feet low. Bass are good with catches up to 7.5 pounds on jigs, crankbaits and spinner baits in 1-10 feet of water. Crappie are excellent with catches just under two pounds on Lit’l Fishies in 3-9 feet of water.
