Gustine Homecoming set May 21-23 The 66th annual Gustine Homecoming and Jr. Rodeo event will be held May 21-May 23 with the theme of Pride, Tradition and Spirit.Thursday, May 21 there will be a horse parade and junior rodeo. Friday, May 22 there will be a golf tournament starting at 1 p.m.

Stephenville council talks proclamations, zoning

Along with several proclamations, Stephenville city council swore in newly elected city councilmembers and reviewed a variety of land use items.Newly elected city councilmembers Nick Robinson and Mark McClinton elected in a special-called, unopposed election were sworn into office.

FCBT reports first quarter results

On May 1, Farm Credit Bank of Texas (FCBT) reported its financial results for the first quarter of 2026.Net income was $73.9 million for the three months ended March 31, 2026; increasing 43.3% compared with the same period of 2025.

Crowds gathered Saturday, May 16 around the 100-foot Penatuhkah Comanche Trail mural in downtown DeLeon as a celebration honored the newly opened Penatuhkah Comanche Trail and the completion of the mural recognizing the history and heritage of the Penatuhkah Comanche people in our area.
