Dublin sending five to regionals

Dublin High School is sending five athletes to Regional Competition in Abilene tomorrow after they placed high in the Area Track Meet in Dublin Thursday. Heading into the next round are Bryten Ballenger, Jilt DeBor, Daniel Escobar, Emiliano Hernandez and Tyler Harrell. Boys results 800 Meters 4.

Tarleton plans busy week

Tarleton Athletics will have 11 games represented by four sports this week. Baseball returns home from a nine-game road trip to host New Mexico State for a fourgame series on April 23-25. The Texans will open the series on Friday with a 3 p.m. game against the Aggies.

Lions/Ladies take on Comanche, Eastland

The Dublin Lions and Lady Lions both faced away losses over the past week. Lions The Dublin Lions traveled to Comanche on April 13 to take on the Indians in game which resulted in a 7-4 loss for the visiting Lions.

DHS FCCLA sends one to Nationals

Dublin’s Ayush Patel is heading to nationals in Job Interview competition following a first place finish at the state Family, Career and Community Leaders of America competition held April 8-10 in Dallas. Patel also received a $70 scholarship for placing first.

Dublin slated to host 14 schools and compete in the District 7 and 8 3A Area Meet today at Bob and Norma Cervetto Field starting at 10 a.m.
