Dublin Secondary gyms were filled Thursday through Saturday for a successful Dublin Athletic Booster Club Basketball tournament with more than 10 schools traveling in to compete in the JV and varsity brackets.
“We had great compliments about our tournament so thank you to all the volunteers who came to help and supported the kids,” said Dublin Head Boys Basketball Coach Wes Grisham.
This includes the many Booster Club volunteers cooking and selling concession items and tickets from 8 a.m. when games started until 10 p.m. when the final games ended for the day. DABC volunteers were also assisting with six-man playoff games held Friday and Saturday at Cervetto Field.
It also includes the coaches and school staff who helped run scoreboard in all three gyms during the many games.
“We hope to have an even bigger tournament next year,” said Grisham.
