Lingleville ISD will host its Cardinal Pride Night Friday, Oct.9 around the home field.
From 5 p.m.-7 p.m., bidding will be open for silent auction items benefitting the LISD football program.
A pep rally will be held on the field at 5:30 p.m. recognizing all junior high and high school sports including cross country, football and volleyball. The pep rally will also include a senior spotlight and mini cheerleader performance.
Fans famished from all the cheering will then head to the concession stand and surrounding area for tailgating which usually brings a wide array of savory and sweet treats. Prizes will be awarded for the best food and most spirited tailgate spot. (Texas CPN to 234-324-3332 by 10/8 to reserve a tailgate spot.)
This all leads to the powderpuff game at 6:45 p.m. giving the girls a chance to show their gridiron grit and boys a chance to practice their pep.
Cardinal Night is hosted by LISD Cheer, athletics and LABC
