Prides take tourney trophies

    Dublin Lions teams claimed some hardware as the Dublin Athletic Booster Club hosted the annual basketball tournament Dec. 4-6.

    Dublin Freshman went undefeated as tournament Champions with wins over Brownwood, Brady, and an overtime thriller vs Early for the championship.

    Dublin varsity was 3-1 in the tournament earning 3rd place for bracket play after defeating Clifton, Early and DeLeon. Dublin’s only loss came to the tournament Champions of Goldthwaite with a score of 63-67.

    Dublin JV went 1-2 with a close loss to Deleon for the 3rd place spot.
