The Lingleville ISD School Board was informed that the district received an ‘A’ rating in the 2021-‘22 school year TAPR report during the regular meeting on Thursday, Feb. 9.
“We’re thrilled with the news,” said Lingleville ISD Superintendent DeeCee McDougal. “Obviously an A rating is a top score, but we are still always looking for ways to improve instruction.”
The meeting also included a closed session to discuss personnel. After returning to open session, the board voted to extend the contract of principal Brian Sanders for three years and Counselor Cheryl Hudson and Athletic Director Steven Bailey by one year.
Theboardalsounanimously approved a resolution regarding wage payments during emergency school closings, allowing the district to pay hourly employees during the bad weather days.
A unanimous vote was also carried to approve resolution regarding TASB Policy Update 120 and local policies.
