Dublin Lions rolled past the San Saba Armadillos in a home game Tuesday, Nov. 26 as the green and gold took the win 60-48.
Head boys basketball coach Wes Grisham attributed the win to strong performances of several of his players including athlete of the week Hunter Jones.
“Hunter Jones had a tremendous game of physicality and not backing down,” said Grisham. “He led the team in rebounds and points by being a power player in the paint offensively and defensively.”
Jones scored 20 points, 14 rebounds, 2 blocks and a charge.
