The Dublin Lady Lions stood strong in their March 7 home game against Millsap until a series of runs in the seventh inning turned the score in the visitor’s favor.
Prior to the streak, the Lady Lions had tied the game 4-4 in the fifth before extending the lead 7-4 thanks to a double by Olivia Salyer in the sixth.
The visitors mounted 20 runs on 8 hits, leading to the final of 24-7 in Millsap’s favor.
Haden Keilers pitched for 6 and 2/3 innings, striking out six and walking six. Keilers also led the home team at the plate with three hit in four at-bats.
This showing followed a 15-0 loss away loss to Tolar March 4.
