The Lady Lions have a 5-6 record now after a win against Early followed by a loss against Brock on Saturday.
Last Tuesday’s game against the Early Lady Longhorns was won in three sets by the Lady Lions (25-21, 25-18, and 25-18).
Madilyn Loper had 19 kills, seven aces and three solo blocks. Hannah Binkley had 16 kills and served eight aces. Kre Hicks had 15 kills, eight solo blocks and one dig. Kylie Olvera had 14 kills and eight solo blocks. Lyla Anderson served 10 aces and five solo blocks.
Saturday’s game against Brock’s Lady Eagles resulted in a loss for the Lady Lions with scores of 25-12, 25-16 and 25-4.
Dublin is set to play the Bangs Lady Dragons on Saturday at home. Results from Tuesday night’s away game against Eastland and Saturday’s home game against Bangs will be in the next edition of The Dublin Citizen.
