Dublin Lady Lions Kre Hicks and Jackie Gibson leap to block an incoming ball from Chico (while Lyla Anderson stands poised to assist) during their home game on Sept. 7 in the Roy & Lynn Neff Memorial Gym. Dublin’s girls took all three sets,, finding an early lead against the visitors which was met by tighter defense in the third set, leading to hard fought end. The Lady Lions traveled to Brock on Saturday where they faced a 3-1 loss to the Eagles. This led to a 8-6 record for the season and 0-1 in district heading into Tuesday’s home game against Coleman.
