The Dublin Lady Lions came out to an early lead in the second inning of their April 8 away game against Comanche before ultimately taking a loss.
The Lady Lions pounced on the home team at the top of the second when Izzy Cervantes scored a hit, Olivia Salyer doubled with two runs and Adriana Stewart tripled with two runs.
Also scoring hits for Dublin were Cassidy Adair, Anabel Phelps and Haden Keilers. The game ended 18-5 in the Comanche Maidens’ favor.
The Lady Lions had a wealth of hits Friday, April 11 as they hosted Breckenridge, racking up 12 before the final moments.
Adair and Stewart led with three hits each. RBIs were led by Adair and Keilers who drove in two runs each.
Dublin took control of the game in the bottom of the fourth when Keilers doubled and brought in her runners while Phelps secured a walk and brought in a run. Breckenridge fired back in the next inning and kept control for the rest of the game, winning 17-6.
