Lady Lions battle Hico

The Dublin Lady Lions were first to score in their away game against the Hico Lady Tigers Friday, Feb. 23.

Jaylee Black put the first run of the game on the board but Hico took the lead shortly after when they secured seven runs in the second inning.

Adriana Stewart claimed the only other run for Dublin when she hit a home run down center at the top of the fourth.

Also scoring hits for the Lady Lions were Chloey Rollins and Olivia Salyer, who also stole two bases.

After returning home Tuesday, Feb. 27 to face Strawn, the Lady Lions head to DeLeon on Friday, March 1 to play at 5 p.m.
