The Dublin Lady Lions slid into the softball season, playing Glen Rose before appearing in the Clyde Tournament.
Feb. 11, the Lady Lions traveled to Glen Rose to play the Tigers. The Dublin girls scored 6 runs by the end while the home team scored 21.
Dublin rebounded in the first game of the Clyde Tournament, winning 17-2 over Seymour.
The Lady Lions ended the tourney 1-3 with losses to Winters (12-3) Clyde (13-0) and Cisco (15-5).
The team heads to Brownwood starting Thursday, Feb. 20 to gain even more experience for the new season.
