The Dublin Lady Lions came within reach of a win Friday, Jan 3 as they faced Breckenridge and several hurdles, including players Olivia Salyer, Emma Vargas and NavaLee White fouling out.
“It was a tough one,” said head Dublin girls basketball coach Kim Perez. “We should have beat them, next time we will!”
Dublin ended the tight first half trailing the home team 21-20.
“We came out in the second half and outscored them 8-4 in the 3rd quarter,” said Perez. “They got hot in the 4th and scored 21 points to our 12.”
