On Oct. 18, Lingleville beat the Bluff Dale Bobcats in a three set win in which Bluff Dale scored 10, 17 and 11 points against Lingleville’s 25s. The Friday night home game was much closer as the Lady Cards faced Three Way, led by former Lady Cardinal Coach Hannah Smith. Lingleville narrowly took each set with the following scores: 2624, 26-24 and 25-19. (Friday night was also Senior Night, in which Araceli Rangel, at right, was honored. “There have been a lot of obstacles and set-backs for the girls as we have had to work around not being able to be on our floor lately,” said Ty Johnson, referencing the newly-refinished gym floor. “However, we continue to work hard and find a solution to all of the situations. We know that we can’t shift our focus over to playoffs yet as there is still work to be done. We need to be able to bring our best... in hopes to finish up district strong.”
