DHS kicked off its golf season at the Squaw Valley tournament in Glen Rose Tuesday, Feb. 25.
The boys placed 5th out of 11 teams, thanks in part to first year varsity golfer Kaden Gaitan who shot a 76 and earned 4th place individual in the tourney.
Hayden Millburn followed with 90. Kyler Gaitan hit 104. Joe Salinas hit 110. Hudsen Joslin hit 114 and Jace Mendez hit 128.
Bailey Watson hit for 118 and placed 13th as an individual.
