Dublin sending runners to Regionals

Dublin is sending five runners to Regionals after the athletes placed at the Oct. 28 district event at Dublin Secondary.

The boys team placed first with Daniel Escobar, Giovanni Rodriguez and Jilt DeBoer placing second, third and fourth respectively and earning seats for Regional competition.

Varsity girls advancing for Dublin include Sarah Resendiz and Lucero Marquez, who placed ninth and 10th respectively in the girls’ 3200M event.

Dublin runners also competing in the boys’ 5k included (by place):

29. Ty Roberts

31. Austin Terriquez

Dublin runners Daisy Almazan and Alejandra Calderon also placed 36th and 43rd in the varsity girls event.

12. Gonzalo Ortiz

15. Juan Macias

Advancing Dublin runners are traveling to Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock and will be running at 11 a.m.
