Dublin Elementary is Wrapping Up the School Year with Fun and Celebration!
Wow! It’s hard to believe, but there are only a few weeks left in the school year, and they’re shaping up to be some of the most exciting yet. Students, staff, and families can look forward to a packed schedule full of events, celebrations, and welldeserved recognition as we head toward summer break.
Here’s what’s coming up on the calendar: May 2 – We’re kicking things off with a rootin’tootin’ good time at the Pre-K Rodeo, followed by the 3rd Grade Celebration at the Park. It’s sure to be a day full of smiles and sunshine!
May 5–9 – Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week! Let’s take the time to show love and gratitude to the incredible educators who have made this school year a success.
May 6 – Families of young learners are invited to a Pre-K & Kindergarten Bilingual Summer School Meeting at 5:30 PM in the elementary cafeteria.
May 7 – 1st Graders will hit the road for their much-anticipated field trip.
May 8 – Get ready to cheer on your classmates and soak up the sun at Elementary Field Day! Don’t forget your sunscreen and water bottles.
May 9 – It’s Pre-K’s turn for a field trip, and we know they’re ready for some off-campus fun!
May 12–13 – Students with excellent attendance will be rewarded with Strive for 5 Attendance Parties. Let’s celebrate their commitment and consistency!
May 14 – 3rd Grade students will enjoy a special day out on their field trip.
May 15 – It’s time to honor our youngest learners! The day begins with the Pre-K Awards Ceremony at 8:00 AM, followed by Kindergarten Graduation at 9:00 AM in the Intermediate Cafeteria.
May 16 – The final day of school is jam-packed with recognition: 1st Grade Awards – 8 AM 2nd Grade Awards – 9 AM 3rd Grade Awards – 10 AM And don’t forget — we’ll be saying goodbye to the school year with an early release at 11:45 AM.
With just a few weeks left, there’s still plenty to look forward to. Let’s finish strong, celebrate our accomplishments, and enjoy every moment together before summer begins. Stay tuned, stay involved, and most importantly — have fun!
