Several Dublin lifters scored big results as DHS hosted the Dublin Invitational meet on Thursday. Jan. 18.

“The kids competed hard and really pushed themselves this week,” said head powerlifting coach Wes Benfer. “There were many personal records broken today and it shows with how much hardware the kids brought home.”

Dubliners getting gold were:

■ Cameron Patton in the men’s 132 with a total of 1,070 pounds (395 squat, 290 bench and 385 dead lift);

■ Marshall Daniel in the men’s 148 with a total of 1,005 (395 squat, 225 squat and 385 dead lift);

■ Emmanuel Ramirez in the men’s 198 with a total of 1,175 (445 squat, 280 bench and 450 dead lift);

■ Lucero Marquez in the women’s 123 with a total of 605 (225 squat, 145 bench and 235 dead lift);

■ Cassidy Adair in the women’s 198 with a total of 865 (315 squat, 225 bench and 325 dead lift);

■ Mariana Ortiz in the women’s 242 with a total of 940 (355 squat, 245 bench and 340 dead lift)

Second place finishes were secured by:

■ Yovanny Ortiz in the men’s 114 with a total of 605 (200 squat, 150 bench and 255 dead lift)

■ Elijah Gonzales in the men’s 165 with a total of 1,240 (500 squat, 275 bench and 465 dead lift)

■ Amado Carranza in the men’s 220 (315 squat, 220 bench and 315 dead lift)

■ Sandra Vazquez in the women’s 114 with a total of 520 (215 squat, 105 bench and 200 dead lift)

■ Karyna Lopez in the women’s 181 with a total of 715 (260 squat, 215 bench and 240 dead lift)

Other Dublin results included:

■ Cayson Loving, 3rd in the men’s 148 with a total of 810 (300 squat, 145 bench and 365 dead lift)

■ Lucas Azua, 3rd in the men’s 165 with a total of 1,105 (445 squat, 275 bench and 385 dead lift)

■ Jovani Cervantes, 3rd in the men’s 181 with a total of 1,105 (435 squat, 235 bench and 435 dead lift)

■ Frida Villicana, 3rd in the women’s 242 with a total of 620 (265 squat, 125 bench and 230 dead lift)

■ Summer Anderson, 4th in the women’s 132 with a total of 465 (185 squat, 95 bench and 185 dead lift)

■ Alonso Moreno, 5th in the men’s 165 with a total of 1,150 (470 squat, 225 bench and 455 dead lift)
