DJH runners place high

The Dublin Jr. High Cross country teams ended their season with a strong showing in district competition at Dublin on Oct. 12. This includes a 3rd place team finish for the 7th grade boys and a 4th place team finish for the 8th grade boys.

“I’m really proud of the JH girls and boys for competing even when some aren’t recognized as distance runners,” said Dublin head Cross Country Coach Wes Grisham. “They just love to compete against other schools.”

“Coach [Kimberly] Perez and I are excited to have these 8th graders for next year in HS and build the program for the future,” he continued. “The 7th grade is right behind them and will continue the tradition of hard work.”
