BROWNWOOD
GOOD. Water slightly stained; 85-86 degrees; 7.44 feet below pool. Black bass to 6.38 pounds are fair on Jigs, shaky heads, swimbaits and glides in 2-15 feet of water early and late in the day. Crappie are slow in brush piles and around the docks on minnows in 10-18 feet of water. White bass are slow to 1.00 pound schooling on jigs and small moving baits and under the lights. Catfish are slow to 8 pounds on jug lines with prepared and cut bait.
GRANBURY
FAIR. Water lightly stained; 84-89 degrees; 0.94 feet below pool. The thermocline is around 20 feet in many areas of the lake. Sand bass are good on spinnerbaits and slabs near Decordova subdivision. Sand bass are schooling on the surface at times. Striped bass to 10 pounds continue to be good from Blue Water Shores to Decordova Subdivision. Crappie catches are good on small minnows and jigs fished about 15 feet down suspended on deeper structure. Largemouth bass are good in numbers with an occasional bigger fish to 7 pounds possible on soft plastics and crankbaits. Deeper docks, main lake points and shallow humps are holding the bigger largemouth. Best catfish action continues to be at night on many areas of the lake on cut shad and prepared baits.
POSSUM KINGDOM FAIR. Water clear; 86-90 degrees; 1.97 feet below pool. Striped bass are fair to good in 30-40 feet of water trolling with chartreuse and white lures, but live shad continues to be the preferred tactic. Sand bass are fair using white and chartreuse slabs or small live bait in 20-35 feet of water. Catfish are good using cut shad fished on or near bottom in 5-20 feet of water. Water clarity is steady around 5-15 feet of visibility.
PROCTOR
FAIR. Water stained; 86-89 degrees; 12.62 feet below pool. Check ramps status before heading out. Catfish are good with cheese bait in deeper water. Crappie are fair on brush piles.
WEATHERFORD
SLOW. Water stained; 90 degrees; 8.54 feet below pool. Fishing continues to be slow for all species until the weather cools. Very few anglers crappie fishing, with a few catches on deep points. Catfish are slow to fair with a few catches on the rocks near the dam. Bass are slow in deeper water.
