Dublin Lions increased their season stats after splitting losses in games last week.
Vs. Comanche
Dublin began the week triumphantly with an 8-5 away win against the Comanche Indians on April 18.
Head baseball coach Brennan Harris reported the Lions went into the 7th inning down 5-2 when Cameron Patton took the bat.
Patton started a rally with a single to left field which led in four straight walks.
Zak Loper knocked in all three runners to give Dublin a 7-5 lead.
Dalan Rasberry finished off the top half with an RBI single to give the lions a three-run lead.
Jose Lopez closed out the game on the mound to earn the win.
Vs. Eastland
The Lions returned home on Friday, April 21 where they faced Eastland Mavericks in a 12-2 loss for the home team.
Harris attributed the run rule loss to errors and a lack of hits.
Lopez got two hits at bat while Kaden Gaitan and Chris Teten had an RBI each.
Cooper Pickett and Jose Lopez pitched for the Lions.
