Pride puts up points in fight

The Dublin Lions leapt back in fierce fashion Friday, April 14 as they faced Breckenridge at home.

Although Dublin eventually fell 11-7, the home team continued to fight after getting down by 8 runs.

A series of seven errors (four in the third inning alone) had allowed the visitors to get a big lead until Jose Lopez stepped up to the plate with bases loaded. He hit a 3 RBI double to help Dublin fight back.

Lopez and Chris Teten led the way on the mound This followed a March 11 away game against Millsap.

“Zak Loper pitched 6 strong innings, but 8 errors kept us from being able to compete the entire game,” said Coach Brennan Harris.

Cameron Patton, Dalan Rasberry, Chris Teten, and Cooper Pickett all reached base multiple times.

Dublin lost the game 13- 3.
