The Dublin Lions conquered the Comanche Indians 1-0 Friday, March 24 on the home diamond.
“The Lion defense had zero errors,” reported head Dublin baseball coach Brennan Harris.
Harris said the tight Dublin defense was aided by Dalan Rasberry (who covered a big area in centerfield and made several catches and Cesar Caldera, who made several plays at third base. Zak Loper caught a fly ball to end the game for the home team.
This win followed a 10-4 loss to Breckenridge.
“We played six great innings,” Harris said of the away game. The Lions lost control of the game in the second inning, when four errors opened the door for seven runs for Breckenridge.
