The Dublin Lions baseball boys ended their 3-10 season with a 12-2 win (in five innings) over the Bangs Dragons at home, thanks in part to some good hits from players like Cameron Patton (seen at right flinging the bat and kicking up dust for a first base run). Coach Scott Mitchell said his team “played hard all year and fought the whole way through.” He said the seniors will be missed next year but younger players are stepping up and expectations are high for next year. Friday’s game started with Senior Night in which Roger Adair, JR Carrillo, Colton Moore and Christian Ramirez were escorted up the diamond by friends and family. Paul Gaudette | Citizen staff photo
