Wow! The month of February has flown by at Dublin Elementary. We have had an exciting month for students celebrating Valentine’s day with class parties. Students had fun snacking on yummy food and passing out valentines to their classmates. We also had a dress up day on Two’s Day, 2/22/22. Students were able to wear Tutus, Ties, and Tennis Shoes to celebrate the day.
Students came back from winter break ready to work hard and continue to learn in the second semester. Tutorials for students began this week with students getting out at 4:30. Kindergarten-Second grade are tutoring on Monday and Tuesday and Third grade is tutoring on Wednesday and Thursday. Notes were sent home last week for tutoring. Please give us a call if you have questions or would like to discuss your child’s progress.
Important dates are approaching. Spring break will be coming soon. It has been extended and will be from March 2-11. Students will return back to school on March 14. The Spring Book Fair will be March 28-April 1. In addition, Pre-K and Kindergarten Early Registration will be on April 13.
The Fourth Six Weeks ended on Friday, February 18 and report cards will be sent home this Friday. We look forward to a great finish to the semester in the fifth and sixth six weeks!
