The Lingleville Lady Cardinals and Cardinals posted home wins Friday night after appearing in the Eula Tournament.
Lady Cards
The Lingleville Lady Cardinals claimed a 57-17 victory against Three-Way at home Friday night.
This followed a good showing at the Eula Tournament where the Lady Cards claimed a 7th place finish after besting Christoval, falling to Stamford, and losing by 3 to Eastland after leading the majority of the game. They finished the tourney with a victory over Colorado City.
Cardinals
The Lingleville Cardinals opened their district schedule with a 69-17 win over Three-Way Friday at home.
“For us, it’s a new season starting District,” said Lingleville Head Coach Steven Bailey, who reported he is keeping his players focused on winning, one game at a time.
This win followed an appearance at the Eula Tournament where the Cars went 1-3 after losing to Jim Ned, facing close losses to Eastland and Early and beating Eldorado.
