Lingleville Cardinals Caden Howard and Rogelio Rangel swoop in to stop a Mineral Wells ball runner during Friday night’s home game. The game marked the fourth consecutive game ended under the 45-point mercy rule when it ended 58-6 in the Cardinals’ favor. The Cardinals enter a bye week this week and will return with their first district game on Oct. 15 as they travel to Gorman to face the Panthers at 7:30 p.m.
