BROWNWOOD
Water lightly stained; 88 degrees; 0.01 feet low. Largemouth bass are fair with Texas rigged plastic worms, crankbaits and jigs along grass lines, rocky shorelines, and flooded vegetation. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs in brush piles and near bridge pilings. White bass and hybrids are good on slabs, striper jigs and live bait along the main lake channels, humps and ridges. Look for birds diving over feeding schools of white bass. Catfish are good on chicken liver and nightcrawlers.
GRANBURY
Water lightly stained; 87 degrees; 0.15 feet low. Largemouth bass are fair on buzz baits, football jigs, green or red Texas rigged plastic worms and flukes near docks, rocky shorelines, points and timber. Crappie fishing is fair around boat docks and bridge pilings with minnows and jigs. Catfishing is good with cut bait and live bait. Stripers are fair with live bait along the main lake channel.
POSSUM KINGDOM
Water slightly stained; 80 degrees; 0.2 feet high. Black bass are fair on deep rocky drops on the lower end of the lake. Docks have provided good structure throughout the lake fishing soft plastic worms, crankbaits, and minnow imitating bait. White bass remain good on small crankbait under black bass. Crappie are good shooting jigs around submerged rocks, docks in the late afternoon. Striped bass have picked up slightly to fair mainly running mid-lake. Catfish are good on cut shad with increased activity at night.
PROCTOR
Water lightly stained; 88 degrees;1.10 feet high. Largemouth bass are good on swimbaits, plastic worms and flipping jigs near main lake points, drop-offs, flooded vegetation and rocky shorelines. Hybrid stripers are good with live bait and swimbaits in the main lake in water depths 20-35 feet. Crappie are good with minnows and jigs near timber and brush piles in water ranging 11-28 feet. Catfish are good on cut bait, live bait and earthworms.
WEATHERFORD
Water lightly stained; 88 degrees; 0.35 feet low. Largemouth bass are fair on drop shots, flipping jigs and diving crankbaits near fallen timber and rocky shorelines. White bass are good on slabs and live bait. Crappie are fair on minnows around docks, creeks and submerged cover. Catfish are good on punch or cut bait.
WHITNEY
Water lightly stained; 85 degrees; 1.01 feet high. Black bass are good on buzz baits, top waters, crankbaits, drop shots and jigs over and near flooded vegetation, timber and rock ledges. White bass are good along the main lake channel, flats and humps.
