The Dublin boys went undefeated in pool play to get into the semi-finals that starting with a 39-19 victory over Brady followed by a 33-13 defeat of Comanche and a 30-8 win over Stamford. “We started a little slow against Brady, but then we started clicking offensively,” said Dublin coach and incoming athletic director Greg Hardcastle. “Defensively, we got better as the day went on too.” The players had found a groove by the time they faced Millsap in their semi-final game, beating the other team 34-0. The team will be heading to the state tournament in College Station on June 24-25 and will begin fund raising efforts to pay for the trip.
