The Dublin Lions’s 2026 season ended last week in tough battles with Millsap.
They squared up in the final home game Wednesday, April 22 with Dublin narrowly losing 3-2 on the Lion diamond.
In honor of the last home, game, the seniors were honored as they walked to home plate with family: No. 1 Daniel Velazquez, No. 2 Alex Teten, No. 7 Aaron Rodriguez, No. 8 Jorge Solis, No. 12 Hazin Chacon, No. 14 Dalton Bullard and no. 22 Caden Vanbebber.
Their mentorship will be missed going into the next season but the program has 10 on the varsity team and JV players that got experience this season to draw on next year.
The Lions sought retribution against Millsap Friday, April 24 and gave their opponents a fight, ending the game with 6 to Millsap’s 9.
Hudsen Joslin scored a run, a stolen base, two runs batted in and a double.
Caden Vanbeber took two turns past home plate and snagged an RBI and two hits. Ivan Phelps also claimed two hits and a stolen base.
Joe Salinas Scored a run and a double while Kyler Gaitan added an RBI.
