Pride picks up pair of wins

Dublin Lions added to the win column last week as they traveled to Eastland Jan. 13 and hosted Early Jan. 16.

The Lions toppled Eastland 78-41 and leading the way to that victory was Jayden Deleon with 19 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 10 steals.

Hunter Jones followed closely with 14 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals and 3 blocks.

Alex Teten scored 9 pts, 3 rebount, 3 assists and a steal.

Jorge Solis snagged 8 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and a block.

Joe Salinas had 8 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. Kyson Gilman scored 8 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 assists and 2 blocks.

Aiden Jeffery racked up 5 points, 1 rebound and 3 steals.

Ivan Phelps put in 2 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks.

Hazin Chacon scored 2 points and 2 rebounds. Hunter Lewis had 2 pts, and Omar Vazquez had 2 points, 2 rebounds and a steal.

The Lions followed that win with a 94-85 W over Early Friday. Teten put up nearly half the points with 43 and completed 5 assists and 7 steals.

Jones scored 14 points, 8 rebounds, an assist, 2 steals and 5 blocks.

DeLeon had 10 pts, 4 rebounds, 7 assists, a steal and a block.

Salinas snagged 6 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal.

Vazquez scored 6 points and a rebound. Phelps had 5 points, 2 assists and 4 steals. Solis scored 4 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Gilman racked up 3 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal.

Jeffery scored 2 points and Hayden Milburn had a point and 3 rebounds.
