Several Stephenville Seniors were honored as The Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) and Walmart announced the 2025-26 Academic All-State Teams for Cross Country, Team Tennis, Volleyball, and Water Polo. The Academic All-State Award honors senior student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional commitment both in the classroom and in competition.
As one of THSCA’s most prestigious honors, this award recognizes students from fourteen different U.I.L. sports, who excel in three categories: GPA, class rank, and ACT/SAT performance.
To be eligible for nomination, an athlete must meet the following criteria:
■ An athlete, student trainer or manager in good standing with the team
■ Of good moral character
■ A Senior
■ Have an overall grade point average of 92 or above Stephenville students named to the list were:
